Slingshot Paintball

Well the strategy for playing paintball with a slingshot is much much different than play with a CO2 or Nitro power gun. Here are 10 things that I have learned after this day of goodness.

1. Since the balls were traveling at a much slower rate, one can watch the balls gracefully fly at you.

2. Charging another player even if you are out in the open is a great strategy since in takes a few seconds to reload and get set to shot.

3. Shoot the slingshot sideways and it is much more accurate.

4. Don’t squeeze the balls too tight, it is a total waste when it pops in the sling.

5. Bring Windex to clean your mask. There is nothing worse than a foggy mask.

6. Wear long pants. Ok…it was so hot outside…but…thorn bushes are so much worse.

7. There is no need to hide. Once you shoot you must get moving.

8. Practice reloaded while running.

9. Always work with at least one other person to make sure you have each others backs.

10. He who has the least fear wins!

  1. Hmm….this is very wise counsel. If I ever find myself in a slingshot paintball game (somewhat unlikely) I believe I would do very well….
