One of my best friedns got married today. It was so good to see Ryan and Colleen as well as a ton of other old friends from Christ Fellowship. Ryan…you are the man… It has been one incredible adventure growing up with you and doing a whole lot of random stupid stuff… Fuschia forever!

VBS was awesome. Rochelle did one incredible job. Working for a small church is way different that how things were when I was at Christ Fellowship. Because the staff is so small the entire church got behind Children’s Ministry and helped out. It was awesome so see the whole staff come together to accomplish one goal. God is going to do some incredible things this week…

I have to admit…after a week of day camp the last thing I wanted to do was to get up early and help someone move. However I had such a memorable adventure helping Matt move from Louisville to Palm Beach Gardens I would not pass up the opprounity to be a part of another exciting adventure. We went to a pretty shady place to pick up the truck…which was a monstrosity. We got all the stuff loaded up and quickly unloaded while it was pouring down on us.

Ascent tonight…6:00 pm…come on and check it out…

It is finally the last day of day camp. I don’t say finally because I can’t wait for it to be over…it has been great but, super exhausting… Today we played all sorts of random games at WCC giving students a taste of what camp is going ot be like. I also set up a 50ft slip-n-slide and lathered it up with dish soap. The bottom line is we had an awesome week. I can’t wait to see all that God is going to do thoughout the summer…

Today we went ice skating. Some of the students we took had never been ice skating before. I was quite humorous watching some of these kids figure out how to balance on the ice. It was also interesting to se how different students interacted with each other. There are some students who are just naturally very outgoing and other socially inept. It is so hard to watch a student terrible fail in their social skills. It was awesome introducing some of these student to some legit  games of dodgeball. Dodgeball is something we do and do often so al these upcoming 6th graders better be ready…
